The Caravan Channel visits Bailey of Bristol

In December 2008 The Caravan Channel visited Bailey of Bristol where they were given unlimited access to our South Liberty Lane production facility.
 
For the first time the entire product assembly process was captured on film to give viewers first hand experience of what it takes to ‘manufacture caravans Bristol fashion’.
 
Commenting on his visit to Bristol, Channel Editor Chris Gosling said “Watching complex production lines operate can be confusing – but the over-riding impression from Bailey’s was how the whole process focussed on achieving the right end result”.
 
“Each action, every movement, was clearly directed to getting the job done quickly, efficiently and above all properly” he added.
 
For those of you who missed the original recording, the broadcast is now available to view as four video files in the Company Videos section of the Caravans Bristol Fashion Micro Site – which can be found at http://www.caravansbristolfashion.co.uk/bailey-today/company-videos/
 
Due to their size, these movie files are best viewed at a minimum broadband speed of 1 MB otherwise you may experience a delay whilst they download.
 
The Caravan Channel is broadcast on Information TV, Sky Channel 166 and Freesat 402 at 7pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings. There’s a new edition every two weeks, which takes over the slot on alternate Wednesdays.
