Ranger and Ranger GT60 380/2 Announced
With economic and environmental considerations currently at the forefront of most people’s minds, Bailey of Bristol has adopted a ‘small is beautiful’ philosophy with the re-introduction of the Ranger and Ranger GT60 380/2 to its model line up. Returning after a three year absence is the micro two berth Ranger 380/2 which is built in a compact 12’0” (3.69m) by 7’2’’ (2.19m) body shell for ease of manoeuvrability on the road and storage at home. It features a full length parallel bed front saloon, a well equipped transverse end kitchen and a corner combination washroom to provide a layout that packs a great deal into a small space With an anticipated MPTLM of around 1000 kgs this model will be one of the lightest caravans currently available and priced in the region of £10,500 it is certainly the least expensive example of this type of layout. Ranger has been instrumental in bringing the joys of a touring caravan holiday to a wider audience for over a decade, providing a range of well designed, well equipped yet affordable vehicles for a new generation of caravanners. Series 6 continues very much in the same vein offering a comprehensive range of light weight touring homes that feature a state of the art body shell, a high quality interior finish and a specification level that belies its entry level price tag. Plus for those people who are looking for that extra level of comfort without compromising value the 380/2 will also be available as a Ranger GT60 model. This new range, introduced to mark the company’s 60th anniversary, enjoys all of the benefits of the standard Ranger models plus a host of extras normally only found in more expensive competitor models. The 380/2 will debut on retailer sites during the National Caravan Road Show promotion in January and February.
